Hello there, I’m Lisa, an Italian traveler and writer who has been living in Thailand for the past two years.
I created this blog to share authentic experiences, hidden gems, and practical travel tips for anyone who wants to discover Thailand. Whether you’re visiting for a few weeks or thinking about moving here, you’ll find guides for both the popular spots and the lesser-known places that give Thailand its true character.

My Story

When I first arrived in Bangkok, I came for a short work adventure. But Thailand quickly captured my heart: from its vibrant street life and peaceful temples to the warmth of the people and the sense of balance that defines everyday life here. Two years later, I’m still exploring, learning, and falling in love with new corners of this country.

This space is where I share what I’ve learned: the best local cafés, cultural traditions, transport options, outdoor markets, weekend getaways, hidden gems and insights into what life in Thailand is really like. My goal is to help travellers and future expats experience Thailand more deeply, through local eyes and everyday stories.

Before moving here, I lived in London, where I studied psychology and developed a love for understanding different cultures and ways of life. That curiosity still guides everything I write and photograph today.

If you’re looking for honest advice, cozy travel ideas, or a glimpse into daily life in Thailand, you’re in the right place.
Welcome to my corner of the web – let’s explore Thailand together.

Why I started this blog

I started this blog because when I first moved to Thailand, I felt lost and struggled to fully appreciate the country. With limited information and guidance, culture shock made it hard to connect with people and the city in an authentic way. I created this space to help travelers passing through, as well as future expats, experience Thailand (and especially Bangkok) more genuinely. I want to share the little details that shape everyday life here, along with practical tips to make your experience richer.

Whether you’re planning a short trip or thinking about moving here, this blog offers insights and stories to help you feel more connected to the country and its people. My hope is to inspire your curiosity and sense of adventure, helping you discover and appreciate Thailand the same way I do!
